A Concerned Canadian from Vancouver, Canada writes: China will take what they believe to be thiers. Look at their history, they don't accept defeat, nor give up what they want retuned. It's too bad the American's don't don't do their homewok on history before they invade. China will take Tibet and Formosa in the end. They are patient and determined.

Levap K from Burlington, Canada writes: Eradication of Nazism? Everybody would understand. Eradication of communism wouldn't even ring a bell. Mostly and still to historians those two systems are equivalent. For some reason after 1989 we all assumed that communism was defeated. Russia nor China would ever distance themselves from their bloodstained history. Therefore, it is not as much about Tibet, as it is about Communism! Tens of millions killed in the name of communism are all but forgotten. Tibet will be also soon, as it is slowly leaving news.

T R from Corkzhen, Canada writes: I have traveled extensively to Tibet and Western China, and have lived in Taiwan, and Guangdong. After speaking to numerous locals, I had a strong impression that Tibet and Taiwan want nothing to do with Beijing politically. Beijing's cherry picking is being forced upon them. The recent news headlines are simply a peak in the ongoing take-over.
To those peaceful supporters standing up for your people in Vancouver, Tibet, and around the globe, you have my support. Don't ever lose hope for an Asia everyone can be happy with.- Posted 23/03/08 at 7:28 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment
