BEIJING — China suffered two more blows Monday to its dreams of a smooth Olympics when violent clashes erupted again in its Tibetan regions and angry protesters disrupted the lighting of the Olympic flame. China sees the Beijing Olympics this summer as a showcase for its growing power and prestige on the international stage, but the Tibetan protests are casting a dark shadow over its planned season of glory.
