Wilf Kruggel from Canada writes: Mitchell A, I do not know what makes you think that the Oiler fans did not want the team in the playoffs as Rexall Place has been virtually sold out all season and not to mention the fact there are lots of people who can't go to watch the team at the arena. Win or lose, the local fans support their teams. Edmonton is an incredibly sports minded city. Their minor hockey program is second to no one in the world. That'll tell you something about this city. If the Flames could have actually won an important game and put the Oil that much closer and make it a mutual effort by both teams then the seas would boil, day would become night and cats would mate with dogs and it's just to soon yet for the end of days. Better that things worked out like they did. Let's go OI-LERS!!!
