SIU probes two confrontations with police
The province's Special Investigations Unit is examining the circumstances of a confrontation last night involving members of Peel Regional Police and a Brampton man taken to hospital with a gunshot wound.
Spokeswoman Constable Sam Nulle said that shortly before 6 p.m., police were called to a home on Alaskan Summit Court, a cul-de-sac near Torbram Road and Bovaird Drive East.
