  1. Shades of Grey from Canada writes: The war on terror will soon target illegal downloads of music and movies.
  2. N. Harmon from Vancouver, Canada writes: Wow, and I thought piracy normally funded hospitals and homes for the needy. I have suddenly decided that piracy is bad. Is pillaging still ok?

Although if we pay the blank-media levy, we are clearly not funding terrorism, just corporate piracy

When do we get a manual so we can tell the good guys from the bad guys? And, can we download it legally or do we need to be afraid that funds terrorism?

At least the ISP Bell is doing their job. They still support terrorism, but they do it very, very slowly.

    :)
  3. h w from the 51st state, Canada writes: WOW! Pirated Paris Hilton videos funding Al Queda! News at 11?
Won't the hawks stop at anything to justify attacking Iran?
IP = Intellectual property. Nothing intellectual coming out of the States in a long long time...
  4. Jimmy VanDino from Eastern, writes: ....and this is what happens when you don't differentiate downloading a song from other forms of piracy. NO ONE is paying for a download off Limewire...so someone please explain how the hell Osama is buying explosive with the proceeds of piracy?
  5. Devil's Advocate from Canada writes: I'm assuming this Attorney General provided evidence how downloading a movie for free helps the terrorists in Iraq fund their bombs. I'd like to see it so I can understand how these oh-so-clever terrorists make money off free stuff. It would seem they're more clever than this Attorney General at least.
  6. Joseph Whistle from Canada writes: Ridiculous. They're out to lunch. Paranoid idiots that seriously need help. And that runs their government. Woof.
  7. Mei-Xing Xu from Canada writes: if they want to associate a product with terror, that would be heroin and hashish, every hit from the pipe or injection aids in the killing of another Canadian soldier. Yet they do not chase these peddlers down and dna test their wares to see if its from Afghanistan and charge the merchants of misery here in Canada with aiding and abetting.
  8. Not right or left from Canada writes: Oh come on USA, not everything has to do with terrorism.
  9. C D from Canada writes: Paranoia attracts terrorism.
  10. S B from Canada writes: "Before Friday's speech, he met privately with representatives from companies including Apple Inc. and Adobe Systems Inc.

Mukasey did not elaborate on the topics discussed in that meeting. The Attorney-General also met with entertainment industry executives in Los Angeles a day earlier during this three-day California trip, and did not discuss those talks."

Does anything more need to be said about Mukasey's credibility?
  11. Sask Langer from Canada writes: The only terror financed by movies and music is the RIAA and MPAA respectively.
  12. Jeremy K from vancouver bc, Canada writes: ONLY TERORRISTS COPY SONGS!
  13. Imperial K from Canada writes: what a bunch of horse s*&^. these guys have their heads so far up industries behinds it isn't funny.

    Cliche i know, but honestly.

Yes, and you driving your luxury cars or SUV's destroys the planet and probably kills people too. But, that isn't changing anytime soon. Apparantly killing is fine - if it's not done intentionally. ;)
  14. Duane Freemantle from writes: This fear-mongering has become tiring. It is hard to determine when, but it well past the point. They are trying to link piracy to everything. They should stop because, people will just stop listening.
