  1. P McLean from Canada writes: I'm surprised this is a story, but only in the sense that anyone thinks Luongo should have been somewhere other than next to his wife while she gave birth. It's funny how on one hand, there is this group of people who insist athletes need to be role models, etc. but when an athlete makes the ultimate example(putting your family first), then there is something wrong with that. No wonder a lot of athletes don't like putting up with "fans". Too many messed up priorities.
  2. Jasper the Black Lab from Vancouver, Canada writes: Can Gina and Gabriella suit up for the 'Nucks too? They would be more effective than some players have been lately.
  3. The Archer from Canada writes: Glad he is back and congrats on the birth of his daughter. The petty commentators who decried his choice only reflect that they are unmarried and have no kids!
  4. Hap Stokes from Canada writes: Welcome to the newest Canuck fan; Gabriella.

Now G & M why are we not supposed to comment on Berties problem? There are a lot of stones to be unturned yet to this story.
Like what led up to the incident in a prior game?

Any man that has ever played hockey would almost certainly do as much or Moore for a team mate that took a (dirty?) hit!--Done a little myself a few times, probably far worse than Old Bertie did.

    Just thinking out loud!
  5. Blind InTheSun from Canada writes: P McLean- you are so right!

    Jasper- so are you!

The canucks have one good player and he can't even take a minute for his family because the rest are a bunch of chokers. Give the man a break. He's the only reason we even have any shot at all.

Luongo is quality stock and sorely overworked and deserves whatever break he needs.
