  1. Carl Baldin from Canada writes: I'm a Flames fan, but the Oilers have a hungry, offensive (like their fans!) fast skating team, that will likely stay together for 4-5 years. Lowe has done a good job - getting rid of 'Cryin Ryan' was his best move! Bottom line....they play entertaining hockey.

    Now, I hope Sutter can rebuild the Flames the same way as Lowe, instead of getting a bunch of grinders who don't show up to play! Iggy is a great player, but some of the other checkers must be replaced with a skating group. Anybody have some good scouts to loan Sutter!!!
  2. Terry F from Edmonton, Canada writes: I'm thinking that MacT is trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear of a season. With a new owner taking the reigns this summer, Mactavish is probably trying to keep his job more than anything else. He'll get a gimme on another year but if the Oilers fail to make the playoffs next year there'll be calls for coaching and possibly management changes. Missing the playoffs is just not good enough.
