  1. Popeye Dillon from North Vancouver, Canada writes: Bruin's are beat up and don't have much of a chance but Milan Lucic as a 19 year old could probaly drop the best Hab tough guy. This kid will be the Bruin's captain in a few years.
  2. King 99 from Canada writes: So you're saying he's going to spend some time in the box? We all know what happens next. Red light on for the Habs.
  3. Jude Hannaford from Canada writes: King 99, your analisis is spot on. The slow as molasses 'Ruins will take too many penalties trying to slow down our very quick Habs. Unless they have learned some discipline they will be toast. If they do play disciplined hockey it will be a very competitive series.

    Vive Les Canandiens
  4. Number One Leafs Fan from Toronto, Canada writes: Is Montreal gunning to be the new Ottawa? A small team that wins the cup before the playoff puck is even dropped... it's funny how that suually turns out and the team's fans that predict the cup early get suddenly quiet.

LEAFS FOR THE CUP IN 2009!
  5. Number One Leafs Fan from Toronto, Canada writes: Well, 2009 AMJ... 2009 After Mormon Jesus... not sure when he is supposed to come to Iowa... hopefully soon.
  6. alex just a canadian from Canada writes: a true habs fan expects nothing else than the cup, no mater how bad the team may be. Usually doesn't happen but we still expect it of the team and players, anything else is a failure but we still love our team.

Number One Leafs Fan from Toronto, someone should tell that to the leafs players and management, they actually may start believing in themselves.
  7. Number One Leafs Fan from Toronto, Canada writes: alex - outside the Muskoka Five, Raycroft and a couple others I think the players do have some belief in themselves. Blow up and rebuild... some solid 2nd and 3rd liners and some future top-6 d-men on the team...
  8. Hab Stuck in TO from Canada writes: Sorry Number One Leaf, but Joe Bowen is one of the most blatant homers out there. "Holy Mackinaw", it's unbelievable!
  9. alex just a canadian from Canada writes: thats exactly what had to happen here Number one, we had to hit rock bottom and get an owner, president and GM that was not afraid to take the flack from the band wagon fans. They may not win the cup but they sure gave us hockey we had not seen in years. Excuses are not tolerated here, either show and give us a plan (got a lot of draft picks that worked out, even prior to Gainey) or the media will eat up not only the players but management too.

Which in my belief is holding down the Leafs, the top boss is more concerned with $$$ not you guys. I have no doubt there are some with the fire to win. I'll be the first to agree blow it all up, we did. We might not get the cup but at least its fun hockey.
  10. Crazy ForCoCoPuffs from Canada writes: I think Montreal will come out tight tonight and the Bruins will steal home ice advantage. Chara will play 30 minutes and pound Montreal's forwards. Penalties were down the first night -- Montreal's PP will not figure prominently. Just a hunch...
