  2. Mike B from Canada writes: To my mighty Habs, Good Luck! And as Robert Miller says, in Bob we trust!
  3. Erik Mielke from OSHAWA, Canada writes: OH Baby wow Playoff time GO HABS!!!! ALL THE WAY!!!!
  4. D W from Switzerland writes: started following the Habs back when the real No. 27, Frank Mahovlich, got traded here, but the current one will do, ha.

eventually preferred the Expos in the '80s and 90s, but when the Canadiens get rolling, everybody in town's a fan

    BTW,
for three straight years, a Canadian club has gone to the Cup finals vs a Sunbelt team, and lost -- time to break the habit ?
  5. Rain Couver from Canada writes: Go Habs!
  6. Crazy ForCoCoPuffs from Canada writes: Gosh, there's going to b a big let-down in Montreal when the Bruins burst the Habs bubble. Stock up on your ritalin, Habs fans!
  7. Eric B from Ottawa, Canada writes: Crazy ForCoCoPuffs : you are obviously not a hockey connaisseur.... the Habs are in a most enviable position right now -- they finished 1st in the Conference which proves they have the talent, hard work and system to beat anyone out there -- but more importantly they are still seen by many as being 'lucky' to be where they are, seen as an average team compared to the Pens/ Rangers....that view is EXACTLY want is need to ensure the players continue to give 110% of effort and not sit back and rely on past performance (see Ottawa) and think they'll win that way...

honestly, all the starts are aligned for a Parade down Ste-Catherine come June....
  8. sam themacman from Waterloo, Canada writes: Hey, Crazy ForCoCoPuffs, you better take that prescription for yourself, and add one for No Doze if you hope Mr. Pilon (Z. Chara) to make a dent in this series. The Bruins are about as mobile as a frozen lake, and the only movement is below the ice!

To be real and honest, if the Habs do what they have done all along the season, and if the Bruins play true to form, which they did to make the play offs the last two weeks, the Habs will have a lot of power play opportunities.

So, personally, I would not want to be a Bruin fan. There is going to be nothing but disappointment. The NHL officials have been told to call the same way they have all year. All that is, is good news for Habs fans. That means there will be a lot of calls, and a lot of powerplays.

So, go ahead Bruins, try to grind, hold and obstruct, and you will go to the "sin bin" and pay the price for it.

Crazy ForCoCoPuffs, don't forget to get your prescription. By the looks of it you are going to need it.
  9. John LaBattaglia from Toronto, Canada writes: Hey Crazy, your about as funny the Rat (former bruins, know who he is)Yu two done one too many drugs.
  10. Crazy ForCoCoPuffs from Canada writes: The headline says, "Montreal abuzz". I think it's Habs fans that are "on something" if they think this team is going deep in the playoffs.

I know the Bruins are underdogs, but I think they will expose Montreal as being a weaker team than their fanboys think.

And Montreal could use a guy like Kenny "the Rat" Linseman in the lineup.
  11. Seth Montgomery from Brussels, writes: I normally hate it when people do this but there is an entertaining blog for habs fans called "fourhabsfans". Google it. I found it early in the season and they kept me chuckling and informed whilst I pined for some hockey over here on the other side of the pond.
  12. DALLAS GREEN from Canada writes: great article, enjoyed the part about Kov's father.
