B.C. father 'got a good break' on bail

VICTORIA — It was a chastened Allan Dwayne Schoenborn who appeared in court last week, begging to be released so that he could pursue reconciliation with his estranged family. Three days later, he would become the object of a manhunt in the stabbing deaths of his three children; Kaitlynne, 10, Max, 8 and Cordon, 5. It was Kaitlynne's tears that led him into conflict with the law, he told his bail hearing.
