Scot Loucks from Pickering, Canada writes: Giguere and Pronger looked horrible.
Unless they get Cory Perry back and start playing a much smarter game Anaheim will be gone quickly.
These two looked like they were more interested in killing each other than they were about winning a hockey game.
45 total shots of which 7 went in.... boring.

Bill Weston from Grand Rapids, MI, United States writes: It may have been boring, Scot, but you gotta love the Ducks going down in the first round. I know I do.

Surprised at Dallas though...... didn't think they had it in them.

Ziad Fazel from Calgary, Canada writes: Much as I like the Niedermayers, Teemu, and a few other Ducks there is just something special about seeing the Stars smack that smug sneer off Brian Burke's face. I have many friends in Dallas from previous jobs who feel the same way. Go Stars Go! Give me more to alliterate about.

Jasper the Black Lab from Vancouver and Elsewhere, Canada writes:
It's a shame these Ugly Ducks got a couple in the second period. Another shutout would have been more exciting. I am not much of a Dallas fan, but was reluctantly converted to a Marty Turco fan just about a year ago.
Corey Perry is not likely to be back for this series, because there are likely only 2 games remaining in this series.- Posted 13/04/08 at 8:39 AM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Raymond Lepage from Ottawa, Canada writes: This must be karma on the Quacks for unsporstmanlike conduct, allowing Niedermeyer and Selanne to rest up during half the regular season. Let's hope now that these two REALLY retire for good next week...

Cassandra from Ottawa from Canada writes: This is the result when the Ducks games are officiated the way they should be i.e. the same as the rest of the league.
All the uproar over Pronger's "suspension" may have been a blessing for the Stars, as it threw a light on The Ducks special treatment from the league.

Gordon Howe from HockeyTown, United States writes: I hope you all realize that if the Stars pull this off(beat the Ducks) that Hull is God forever in Big D. Then you thought his head was big BEE FORE.

The Arrogant ducks right from their GM right on down, Niedermayer Selanne sitting out not playing until they are ready to make a cup run, well its about to end. Giguere is awful.- Posted 13/04/08 at 12:39 PM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

greg panke from orangeville, Canada writes: I have been too busy to follow the playoffs so far but this is the surprise bonus so far, go Dallas go. It is great to see the Ducks being treated like a regular team instead of getting the special "Burke" treatment that they have gotten away with for much too long.
Hopefully this will finally be the end of goon style hockey in the NHL.- Posted 14/04/08 at 4:01 AM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

D W from Switzerland writes: just double-checked: Brad Richards has played in 14 games for Dallas (including 2 playoffs) since the trade and has 14 points; point-a-gamers are not found on every team, so go Richards /Modano /Ribeiro : shock the Ducks!
