dan donahue from wpg., Canada writes: I've been producing and recording for almost 30 years and to say times have changed is an understatement. The reality is that it's harder than ever to make a go of it these days regardless of what role one plays in the business. Still, I'm as busy as ever and that's thanks to this city which is highly diversified in it's musical character. Great records are still being made by great engineers and producers in good studios and while the gear makes it possible, the human expertise makes it happen. stick to the tried and true elements of good service, integrity and fairness and you'll be fine just as log as one doesn't pander to the fickle nature of the 'now syndrome'.
