B.C. Premier feels no pressure to skip Beijing ceremonies

VICTORIA — Premier Gordon Campbell wants to leave the politics at home when he attends the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.As controversy continues to follow the Olympic torch relay, and world leaders threaten to boycott the ceremonies over China's human-rights record, Mr. Campbell defended his plans to be in the stands when the Games begin.
