  2. Mr. Coffee from Victoria, Canada writes: It sure as hell won't save your liver. Ha Ha Ha.
  3. Stude Ham from Outremont, Canada writes: All is not lost! Thanks to these planet saving organic distillers... their priorities are very correctly ordered. Now... how soon will the single malt whiskies and whiskeys be available? I would definitely want my comfort moments to help our planet.
  4. Mr Right from Toronto, Canada writes: The whole vodka craze(?) seems so funny to me. Vodka suddenly became trendy as a spin-off of the whole low-carb diet mindset. Couple that with peoples' desire to be associate themselve with "elite" brands (eg. Grey Goose) and you have a fad. Kind of like how so many young males all drink Heineken - the branding part, I mean(!).

Don't get me wrong, obviously people drank vodka - and yes, even Grey Goose - long before the latest low-carb diet phase, but it was definitely never as entrenched as "the" drink as it is now.

    Society and trends are fascinating.
  5. h k from Canada writes: Grey Goose is not elite!! Belvedere or Chopin, now that's elite!!

Please, no more mass marketed vodkas labeled as "elite". For a true experience . . . Imperia Vodka

  9. Mr Right from Toronto, Canada writes: Grey Goose is not elite - my point exactly. That's why I wrote the word "elite" in quotes...

I guess I have to work on my sarcasm in written form.
  10. siren call from Canada writes: Grey Goose is rather elite from my perspective.

Here in Alberta it sells from about $45.00 for a 26 ouncer (that's how we talk out here). Smirnoff is about $22.00.

BTW -- if you keep your Vodka in the freezer -- even the cheapy stuff tastes fine. Or doesn't taste. I guess that's the point of vodka?
  11. Danl Cooney from Lakeville, MA, United States writes: Nice piece on the organic topic BEPPI, but you forgot to mention all natural, additive free Qino One Vodka. We have created the first vodka made with organic fair trade quinoa. The quinoa adds a subtle natural sweetness to the vodka so we have no need for additives like some of the so called "elite" (industrial) vodkas. www.qion1vodka.com. or www.qino1vodka.jimdo.com Always drink responsibly.

Thanks I had never heard of Wikipedia before.
