George S from Toronto, Canada writes: Oh please Habs don't let me down. I hope that Koivu steps up Montreal's offence and Price shuts it down on the other end. Hopefully with Koivu back Kovalev will have a chance to shine a bit more since some of the defencive pressure will be directed toward Koivu now. GO HABS!!

For the first time in the series, the Habs have two scoring lines and the last line change.- Posted 21/04/08 at 1:37 PM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

R Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: History suggests that the Habs will win tonight's game...
However, history is history which is also what the Habs will be if all those in Blue, Blanc et Rouge uniforms don't bring their A game tonight... We need Koivu's and Kovalev's lines firing on all cylinders offensively and a lot of hits and punishment dished out by Montreal's third and fourth lines.
Oh, Noisy fans at the Bell Centre this time too, please!
Go Habs!

My sentiments exactly from Canada writes: What a hoot! On Viger and Beaver Hall Hill in Montreal, somebody has put an enormous handmade Carey Price jersey on the modern sculpture there. At lunchtime, many people stopped to take photos.

Swifty J from Mtl, Canada writes: Robert Miller gets it: the Habs' D (and that includes forwards and their backchecking assignments) has been porous in the third period of the last two games, and generally outhustled by the Bruins the rest of the time in the last three games. I don't care if your goalie is Roy, Dryden, Hasek or whomever, most of the time you'll lose when you leave the netminder out to dry.
This is one of those times when nothing but vintage sports clichés will do: the Habs have to step up and give 110% for a full 60 minutes, or they're toast.- Posted 21/04/08 at 2:57 PM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Damn straight that I get it! Season ticket holder at the Old Forum from 1975-1983 when players like Robinson said things like, 'They judge seasons here in terms of winning the Cup or not winning the Cup. That's just the way it is.'
The Habs are invited to the dance with the Captain from Nova Scotia in the Eastern Final this season, and they better show up for it...
I'm working tonight, but have a beer for me... I want to hear the whiny trolls on here tomorrow morning complaining about how loud the Montreal fans were singing ...

Gogh Forit from Canada writes: If the Habs blow tonight's game it will be viewed as a greater collapse than the Senators. Obviously the Bruins will be playing with the same intensity of the past two games. For Montreal the real proof is in the Price.

PANIC! At The Ice Floe from Ottawa, Canada writes: I say the Habs choke tonight. If Boston won by fluke last game I would say MTL would win, but that game 6 against Boston reminded me too much of Buffalo-Ottawa a couple of years back. Just like Buffalo didn't give up, I think the Bruins won't quit.

max from edmonton from Canada writes: I'd like to see Price buck up and win this one for his team. He seems to have a great future, but something like this can really mess with a goalie.
The Habs did a lot of good things all year long, If they stick to the plan they should be all right.

Huet doesn't look too bad. I thought he was the best caps player in at least a couple of those games. The Caps haven't exactly dominated the flyers yet thats for sure.
I am hoping that Huet gets a chance to meet the habs in the playoffs yet. Always good to watch that kind of matchup- Posted 21/04/08 at 5:58 PM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

David H from Calgary, Canada writes: This writer has it all wrong. Carey Price is a 20 year old rookie, win or lose, he has a great future ahead of him. All eyes will be on Guy Carboneau, his coaching, or lack of coaching is on trial. He has been thoroughly outcoached up till now. The fact we are in a game seven is more his fault than the goalie.
