Bush voices NAFTA support amid Democratic criticism

NEW ORLEANS — President George W. Bush used his final Three Amigos summit yesterday to offer a morale boost for a North American free-trade agreement facing increased skepticism from Democratic presidential hopefuls. Mr. Bush offered the support after an hour-long meeting with Prime Minister Stephen Harper in advance of the wider three-leader official summit today that will include Mexican President Felipe Calderon.
