Bill Weston from Grand Rapids, MI, United States writes: Cant say anything about Madden, the Wings dont get to see the Eastern conference teams very often in Bettmans new and improved NHL. But either Zetterberg or Datsyuk would be deserving. I dont remember where it was but I read where Datsyuk also led the league in puck takeaways by a wide margin. Sounds like the best kind of defense to me, take the puck away from your opponent and he sure cant score.

I have some concern over the stats keeping though. Datsyuk had 144 takeaways and the 2nd highest - only 86. Either Datsyuk is that good, or the stats keeping is flawed. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see much of Wings this year, thanks to Bettman's NHL as well.
