Sean O'Reilly from Canada writes: Some more crack reporting by the media, and this is where it bothers me the most.
One only looks to the last series to know, its two games!
Laperriere said it perfectly, they need to play better in front of their goaltender. Why are the wings up two, because they played well in front of Osgood, and he gave them the difference making saves when necessary.
The media get so quick to annoint a team after one game. then a game comes a long and that team gets beat and now its what wrong and the next flavour.
Game 3&4 are going to decide how this series is going to be determined, so bring em on!

R Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: The real problem is simply that Jose is really not that good...
Occasionally, brilliant but totally inconsistent, and when he is bad, he is very bad...

Bill Weston from Grand Rapids, MI, United States writes: Colorado can talk all they want about playing better in front of their own net but.. the Wings are not the Minnesota Wild. Any comparison to 1999 is ridiculous and desperate. The simple truth is that this version of the Red Wings does not make it easy to play well in front of your own net! Theyre big, theyre strong, and theyre fast.
I have to disagree Sean. The reason Detroit is up by 2 is that they've played better at BOTH ends of the ice than Colorado has, especially on Saturday. Theyve simply looked like the better team at every aspect of the game.
So bring on Theodore, bring on Budaj, bring on Foresberg if you want/can. Pay more attention to the Mule and watch Hank and Pavel sting you. No one player is going to turn this series around for the Avalanche. It'll take a total team effort by Colorado and a collapse by Detroit. Wings in 6.

Gordon Howe from HockeyTown, United States writes: I think I was right about Theodore. He was playing above his head before this series. Maybe the Wings are just too fast or maybe the Avs aren't that good. Once Theodore gets a little down on himself it takes a long time before he gets his confidence back. All we need is one win and we're set.
