U of T president envisions fewer undergrads downtown

TORONTO — From his office in the University of Toronto's ivy-covered Simcoe Hall, David Naylor has a clear view of his school's downtown campus – the second-largest in North America. It's one the U of T's president could do without. Growing interest in a university education and population trends have brought an increasing number of young students to the St. George campus – too many, Dr. Naylor says.
