Brenda Martin moved to Kitchener jail
Brenda Martin made a surprise return to Canada on Thursday after a two-year ordeal in a Mexican prison.
Ms. Martin, 51, and an escort from the Correctional Service of Canada arrived in Kitchener, Ont., on a flight from Mexico shortly after 6 p.m. ET.
There, a media throng jockeyed for a glimpse of her as she was led into a large black van waiting on the tarmac and whisked away to the nearby Grand Valley Institution for Women.
