Peace, Israel - a wish, a prayer, a possibility
Imagine going to bed every night not sure whether you will wake up in the morning. In effect, that is what the state of Israel has done throughout its 60 years of existence.
As the anniversary of its birth on May 15, 1948, approaches, Israel is feeling as besieged as ever. Its militant enemies casually fire rockets across its borders. Iran, well on its way to acquiring nuclear weapons, vows to wipe it off the map.
