No reward for pandering
From Friday's Globe and Mail
Mario Dumont's Action démocratique du Québec has served one useful purpose. By finishing ahead of the rigidly sovereigntist Parti Québécois in last year's provincial election, it proved voters are hungry for a more modern alternative to the governing Liberals. But Quebeckers now seem to be recognizing that a party led by Mr. Dumont does not fit the bill.
The ADQ is in free fall.
