According to Stewart Thornhill, entrepreneurs have different ways of thinking. Some zig, while others zag. Some are analytical and more data driven, while others are organic in nature; relying more on gut instinct. Both personality types can create successful businesses, but the Associate professor of Entrepreneurship at the Richard Ivey School of Business says there are a number of red flags that all entrepreneurs should be wary of. Mr. Thornhill tells Business Incubator reporter Jon Cook that one of the most common mistakes made by entrepreneurs is illustrated by the person who opens a Greek restaurant, without first asking whether anyone in town likes Greek food.
