U.S. soldier dies in accident at Alberta base
CFB WAINWRIGHT, Alta. — A United States army soldier has died in an accident at a military base in east-central Alberta.
Canadian Forces Captain Tom St. Denis says the army reservist died Monday at CFB Wainwright.
The soldier, who was not identified, was involved in Exercise Maple Guardian, a manoeuvre to help troops get ready for deployment to Afghanistan this summer.
