Self-published winner of prize joins the big leagues

Toronto — The winner of the $10,000 Stephen Leacock Medal for the funniest work of fiction released last year in Canada finally has a publisher.Douglas Gibson Books, an imprint of Toronto-based McClelland & Stewart, announced yesterday that it will publish The Best Laid Plans, a novel by Terry Fallis, as part of its fall schedule.
