robert quinn from Japan writes: Seven consecutive seasons with 108 points or more. God, you see that in print and...you think of the Leafs. So far away.

Bill Weston from Grand Rapids, MI, United States writes: Thank you Eric for saying what Ive been saying all along to the doubters; these are not the same Red Wings as in playoffs past. Theyre fast, theyre mobile, and theyre tough. Turco can mouth all the right phrases but, for whatever reason, certian teams get inside a goalies head and its a hard demon to exorcise. The Wings have been in Turcos head since the day he skated away from the Universuty of Michigan and into the the NHL. This edition of the Red Wings just has too much depth for Dallas. The only thing that could cost Detroit this series would be a total team collapse. Detroit in 6.
robert quinn from Japan: youre right, thats a lot of good hockey. Just remember, it wasnt always so, even for the Wings.

M Poland from Calgary, Canada writes: I can't believe that someone in Japan, at this stage of the season, if not ever, thinks of the Leafs! Holy Cow, there are a lot of better teams to think of than those clowns. Eric makes a strong case for Detroit, but many other hockey analysts think that Dallas may just beat 'em!
