Ironically so I can work out and keep in shape. It just happens that 11pm-12pm is the only time I get to do it. Thus, I suspect if I took that time to sleep I'd actually gain weight. I can't believe someone paid these yokels.

The article doesn't say all people Yvonne...it says more likely.
If you actually read the article you would have noticed that the smoking rate for those who get less than 6 hours of sleep was 31 percent....10 percent higher than the national rate.

Pamela Achurch from Peterborough, On, Canada writes: Studies like this one have so many holes in them, they are useless....no mention was made of chronic pain in sleep disturbance...how could they get so many obese smokers in the study if subjects were randomly chosen...etc,etc, etc.........garbage in, garbage out. Who paid for it anyway? It seems to suggest that we need to be rushing off to the drugstore to get sleep medication instead of writing comments to the Globe at 4a.m.
