Alliant prepared to hear 'No' from Industry Canada
VANCOUVER — Alliant Techsystems Inc. has “received absolutely no indication of a change” in the Canadian government's position since federal Industry Minister rejected Alliant's proposed $1.3-billion takeover of the space division of MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. last month, Alliant chief executive officer Daniel Murphy said Thursday on a conference call.
