In Toronto, a couple we'll call Peter, 59, and Cynthia, 47, want to figure out a way to pay for the university educations of their children and still be able to afford to retire. The kids are Cynthia's from a former marriage. One, age 20, is in the second year of university at a cost of $7,000 a year. Another, 18, will start the first year of university this fall.
