RCMP book entire Vancouver hotel for Olympics
VANCOUVER — The RCMP have awarded a lucrative Olympic housing contract to a downtown Vancouver hotel without a public bidding process.
The Vancouver 2010 Integrated Security Unit says the Blue Horizon Hotel will house security personnel for at least the month of February, 2010.
The hotel says they've been asked by RCMP not to comment on the contract for security reasons.
