    I think Cowan should go to wherever Nonis goes,...seriously...1 assist in 46 games.

Now if you remember Imlach you remember when the Maple Leafs were a respected and competitive team...and we also used rotary phones and rabbit ears for our TV sets. MLSE is not simply the laughing stock of the NHL. The English language does not contain words to describe their incompetence. As for Mr. Nonis, his track record--or more properly lack thereof--speaks for itself.

    If I am choosing between Nonis, Campbell, Smith, Ferguson... I would go with Nonis... at least he wasn't willing to sell the farm to make the playoffs and lose in the first round.

    Didn't he engineer the trade that brought Luongo to Vancouver? Nuff said after that one.

    Still like Nill out of Detroit and can't believe they won't let him go... with Stevie Y there I don't see any future for him.

Quebecer from Canada writes: The only thing that might be worse than an MLSE article in the G&M with everything else going on in sports are idiots like Ottawa Resident posting on such a story about how the G&M should be "ashamed" of themselves for writing it. People should feel shame for a lot of things. Murder, abuse, cheating on spouses and neglecting children yes, bad hockey coverage, no. One article out of how many in the HOCKEY section that covers the Leafs in a Canadian paper whose largest resdership base is in Toronto hardy constitutes poor hockey coverage. As per the other sports, they have entire sections for themselves. Finaly, everytime you cick on a Toronto stroy that on priniple you think should NOT be in the paper, you are included in the statistics the G&M use to sell ad space. Every time you post, the same happens. Often (Not always I grant you) it is the same deuche bags that tell Toronto fans they are idiots for not boycotting the Leafs and that the Leafs will not get better wthout a fan revolt who continue to support the G&M by posting on the same Leaf stories they want banished. You want a different G&M sports section? Write a letter to the edditor and stop reading. Every time you post, you only make the G&M better able to sell itself. That said, as someone who is ejoying the rediculous soap opera that is MLSE, thank you.
