    Still scratching my head over this sentance. What does it mean? Is it just extremely bad editing?

    It's just a joke -- i.e. if you have a pulse, you think Carla is a goddess.

    i can understand the writers' desire to finance his vacation with some fluff travel piece, but the globe's decision to put this in the World section is baffling. Life, maybe. but World??? and you paid for this article? it is low-quality blog at best.
