  1. R Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: These Pens remind me an awful lot of the Montreal Canadiens dynasty teams of the late 1970s.

Their effort, their speed, their hitting, their way that teammates support each other, their toughness, and their luck (Avery's spleen, Timmonen's blood clot.)

Malkin looks like he has a bit of hate on for this opponent already -- out to avenge Khalamov's ankle, maybe ?

What defenseman in his right mind wouldn't be back peddling seeing the likes of Malkin, Crosby and Hossa bearing down on them. Gary Roberts is absolutely right that it is definitely hard to win that way.

    Go Pens!
  2. Dave The Rave from Ottawa, Canada writes: The Flyers just lost defensive stud Braydon Coburn. The sound you hear is the hiss of deflating playoff hopes. A couple of slugfests so far. Pens leading, evensteven on shots in the first, a Pens goal called back. Flyers are putting up valiant resistance. But Pittsburgh just looks too strong.
