Imax loss widens

TORONTO Imax Corp. widened its first-quarter net loss to $10.3-million (U.S.), compared with $4.7-million a year earlier, as revenue declined 12 per cent in what its co-CEOs characterized as a “transitional” period.
The big-screen movie technology company, said Monday its January-March revenue was $23.5-million, down from $26.8-million a year ago.
