McCartney and Mills granted divorce decree
LONDON — A judge has granted a preliminary decree of divorce for former Beatle Paul McCartney and Heather Mills. Justice Hugh Bennett said at a 30-second hearing at London's High Court on Monday that the divorce could be finalized in six weeks plus a day.
Justice Hugh Bennett said the petition for divorce by Mills was granted on the grounds that the couple had lived apart for two years.
