Nfld. cancer probe turns to questions of cross-examination
ST. JOHN'S The Newfoundland and Labrador government is questioning whether lawyers for a public inquiry into botched breast-cancer tests are following the rules when it comes to the questioning of witnesses.
Jackie Brazil, a lawyer representing the provincial government, appeared unexpectedly before the inquiry Monday to seek clarification on the role of the inquiry's counsel.
