  1. Sissy Schuss from Canada writes: good to see new and different teams making the playoffs but Latvia and Norway?
  2. R Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: Actually Team Norway shouldn't be taken lightly. Of all the teams that they faced, Norway may have given Team Canada the hardest time in the regular tournament.

Go Canada Go. Allez Canada Allez.
  3. Sev Scott from Calgaristan, Canada writes: Yes, but Canada is like a freight train, and we are getting up to speed. Now we have three lines pumping, and bring'em on. Go Canada Go.

It is just too bad they play all there games during the day, when most Canadians are at work. Ah, the smart IIHF.
  4. Scot Loucks from Pickering, Canada writes: Sev Scott;

They scheduled it that way intentionally..... so as not to come up against the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Little did they know that all the Canadian teams would be gone so soon.

    Cheers

btw.... watch it online at work on TSN.ca... pretty good feed.
  5. Michael Sharp from Victorious, Canada writes:

    Mr. Miller?

If you're at these games we deserve more than a cursory how do you do.

Tell us what goes on in the Metro Centre.
You're talking to hockey nuts here.
  6. R Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: Well, Michael:

First, we sing Barrett's privateers as Team Canada takes the ice except Shane Doan leaves out the "Goddamn them all" part because of his whacko Western Canadian religious beliefs.... I think that he might pray for our collective souls during that part of the song.

Then, we usually watch Team Canada crush whatever opposition that it is currently facing over a few Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale...

Then like all good Canadians, we quietly and humbly mumble the words of "Oh Canada" at the end of the game...

    Any other questions?

    Cheers.
  7. achebe .... from Canada writes: With the Sens forwards pumping on all cylinders it seems that perhaps the Sens might do better in the European leagues.
  8. Proud Canadian from Canada writes: Canadian cylinders and fuel injectors are all runnin well. That goal by Getslaf, the first one was a hilite reel goal, not for Cherry but for the normal person. Team's playing well, top line of Getslaf, Heatley and Nash are a great line to watch. Didnt see all the game, work committments, but watched the first 1/2, impressed. Need some Russian judges out there to judge the dives. Not many penalty calls on them, thank god, but I saw a couple 9.1's on a scale of 5. Guess its the hockey schools in Europe, you learn to skate, then dive, then stickhandle. Same as some Toronto driving schools, stay in the left lane, avoid the sacred cows crossing.
  9. Michael Sharp from Victorious, Canada writes:

    Thanks, Mr. Miller.

I suspect Shane Doan is at least praying for Coderre's soul, if nobody elses.

Keep up the excellent in-depth postings!

    What's Alexander Keiths?
