Cameco sees 'year of renewal'

Uranium powerhouse Cameco Corp. has turned in a strong enough first quarter for its chief to declare that it now has a handle on operational problems that have hurt its results and its reputation over the past couple of years.
“Those challenges have sharpened our focus on the operations in the short term and have assisted us in building a foundation that will make us more resilient and stronger in the long term,” Jerry Grandey said Tuesday.
