Crashing helicopter kills 3 on board, 1 on ground
CRANBROOK, B.C. — A helicopter carrying three passengers exploded in flames in a quiet residential area of Cranbrook, B.C., Tuesday afternoon, killing all on board and crushing to death a man out for a walk.
The chopper, which witnesses say had been flying extremely low moments before it plunged to the ground, left a trail of flames and wreckage as it skidded for several metres along the street, dragging the pedestrian underneath.
