NBC crowns Fallon Late Night's new hope
NEW YORK — NBC anointed Jimmy Fallon yesterday as its new hope for late-night television, officially confirming the long-running rumours that he would replace Conan O'Brien when the current Late Night host takes over the Tonight Show from Jay Leno next year.
