Long-term defence plan set out
HALIFAX It will cost up to $30-billion over the next two decades to re-equip the Canadian Forces, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said yesterday as he announced long-term procurement goals that combine several previous promises.
The plan was unveiled nearly two years after a more modest initial proposal priced at $17-billion.
