  1. max from edmonton from Canada writes: I am a bit sad to see her go. I would love to see a head to head battle for the next couple of years with her and Ochoa.

At least Womens golf could be competitive for world number 1 ranking
  2. C Gardner from Canada writes: Now I'm really sorry that Sorenstam didn't play in last year's Canadian Women's Open here in Edmonton. Would have been fun to watch her and Ochoa go head to head, and you know I'll never get a better opportunity to be able to say "Yeah, I saw her play...."
  3. jerry macintyre from Kitchener, Canada writes: Hey Michelle take note this is what we call class. This lady will be sorely missed in the world of sports not just golf, all the best to her in the future.
  4. R. M. from Regina, Canada writes: Classy woman. Wonderful player. If she does retire I would still expect her to be part of special events simply because of her "draw" and I don't mean a golf shot here. Her departure from the regular tour will be noticed for sure.
  5. Rob C from Canada writes: Someting tells me she'll be back...
  6. Dick Nails from Canada writes: Golfers don't retire. They just shoot higher scores for less money. Any 'sport' that includes driving, drinking and smoking is not a sport. A golf injury? How, when you fall drunkenly out of the cart? I am not old enough to golf; my next birthday will be a milestone but no matter what age, I am never old enough to golf.
  7. Gordon Howe from HockeyTown, United States writes: Good for her. She's one hell of a player. She'll make out just fine. As they said she's going out on top, and on her terms. And she'll be missed.
  8. CD W from Canada writes: Always fun to watch. Have a great life.
  9. Moose Lion from Canada writes: Dick:

Is being part of a sport something to aspire to? Who cares what you call it. Are you that concerned with the purity of the word 'sport'? Or is it the proper use of the english language in general that you are concerned with?
