Knight: A silver lining in a sludge storm

I was listening to Sirius satellite radio's English Premier League channel the other day, whilst driving a lengthy string of errands.  On came an e-mail from a Manchester City fan, offering a brave and unique analysis of his side's horrendous 8-1 dismantling at Middlesbrough on the final Sunday of the EPL season.

I paraphrase, but essentially…

“The first goal was a penalty that should never have been awarded, the second was offside, the third never crossed the goal line, and the final five never would have happened if the first three had been disallowed.  We were robbed!”

Now that's a fan, folks.  If you've got any creeping, horrendous embarrassment in your life that you desperately need to feel good about, get over to Manchester and start checking the pubs.  The master spin writer of your dreams is likely consoling himself there, wearing City sky blue and white.

Onward!

If he thought it's empty, that would make him "negative" attitude person, right?
