  1. Double Speak from Canada writes: Smart move for GE and GE shareholdres to sell their appliance business...just like IBM did when they sold their laptop division to Lenova (Chinese firm) . GE should use the proceeds to reduce debt or buy more water companies or medical imaging companies
  2. harry carnie from Northern, B.C., Canada writes: Right............if the upper management of General Motors is incapable of properly managing their
    various companies (as it is obvious they are) then by all means sell to someone who can(Chinese?)

    Might as well retain some value for the sharholders before running the companies to "zilch"
