Oil rockets higher to flirt with $128

OTTAWA — Oil prices shot up to a record high near $128 (U.S.) per barrel in trading Friday as Goldman Sachs Group issued a stunning new forecast saying it expects crude to average $141 (U.S.) per barrel in the second half of this year. The investment bank — which earlier warned oil could spike to $200 in the next two years — raised its forecast for the second half of 2008 from $107 (U.S.
