  1. John Stanton from Canada writes: All you have to do Dallas is take it deep. Make the Old Men work hard. Get their heart rates high, wear them out. They are already going to lose game 1 of the Cup final against that young team that is resting and healing right now!!!! A CANADIAN Captain will raise the Cup this year.
  2. Gordon Howe from HockeyTown, United States writes: Stanton, now you're starting to sound like the loud troll. Who is your captain again?? Is it Sundin or Alfiesdone?
  3. Proud Canadian from Canada, Canada writes: Howe, Pittsburg vs whoever. The Cup will be with Sid the Kid and his teamates. Ur team is too old, your city is too decrepid to have the Cup there.
  4. R Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: Good luck to Dallas and PEI's Brad Richards.

    Cheers.
  5. Proud Canadian from Canada, Canada writes: Howe, ur Captain's name is Thatsuck?
  6. W R from Stratford, PE, Canada writes: Detroit will wrap it up with an easy win tonight (5-0) and make short work of the Penguins (5 games or less). There's just too much talent on the Wings for an inexperienced team like Pittsburgh to overcome on their first try at the big prize. Good training exercise for Crosby, Malkin and Fleury but that's about it.
  7. Gordon Howe from HockeyTown, United States writes: Hey Loud Troll you must be getting in a lot of overtime hauling the garbage now that your team was broomed weeks ago. LOL It must hurt knowing that after yakin it up during the regular season about how good your Egg Layers were to watch them get broomed. To watch your high priced over paid prima donas get broomed. It must hurt reeeeeal bad watching the Wings play long into the playoffs knowing your Hens have been playing golf and yuking it up while you haul the garbage.LOL Yup Troll this is hard times all right. I'm getting ready to watch the game tonight and if we lose I'll have my tickets at the ready. What about your tickets Troll? LOL loser.
  8. Hap Stokes from Canada writes: Now Gordo that's a real gut one-- "Alfiesdone"--
What have you been practicing your graffiti on Shiite Haus Valls?
  9. Dave The Rave from Ottawa, Canada writes: What this playoff season has proved so far is that nobody knew/knows who was/is going to beat who. Except for the Pens-Sens series, that is. Remember the Sharks won two after being down three before the Stars closed them out? It can go either way tonight. See you all after the game.
  10. Scot Loucks from Pickering, Canada writes: I hate when they delete my comments..... sigh.

I think I will agree with W R from Stratford PEI.

Stanton you are a reason to cheer for the wings.... just so people like you give it up as far as a Canadian captain goes... Didn't do us much good yesterday against the Russians did it?

Gordon Howe and PC should provide us with a great deal of entertainment next year me thinks.

Although I am 11 for 14 so far Dave the Rave... you are correct. Looking forward to the conversations after 11:00pm

    Cheers

I hate when they delete mine too.

Scotty who knows who the Troll will be cheering for next year. He was on and off the bandwagon so much during the season he probably got splinters in his butt. I imagine that makes it mighty interesting driving Ye Ole Garbage Scow. As far as next year goes I'm stickin with this year right now. It's a little nerve racking but all I can do is hope for the best, and we move on to play the Pens. I'm thinking it would be a more interesting series with the Wings in it, rather than the alternative. The Pens remind be of the young Oilers when they came up against the Islanders years ago. They have a good future but I don't know if they'll be able to hang on to Malkin. If they can, watch out. They'll be good for years. I'd like to say good luck to old Hal Gill too. Things turned out pretty good for him.LOL
Good to see you posting here. You bring a tad of sanity, rather than Sanitation.LOL
  12. Dave The Rave from Ottawa, Canada writes: Who said all Dallas has to do is 'take it deep'? Who called the Wings 'old men'? The same poster who makes narrow minded remarks about 'A Canadian captain hoisting the Cup'. Shameful comments. Hockey is an international game. Hockey is a game where players can have careers that last more than just a few seasons, where they don't have to stuff themselves with steroids and look like monsters. Whoever wins this series, and it looks like Detroit, will provide a worthy opponent for the Pittsburgh Penguins, a team led by a man who embodies courage, elegance and skill in this sport--Mario Lemieux. Courage and elegance: something worth having in our age of institutionalized buffoonery.
  13. Frank Smith from Canada writes: Stanton has posted his usual comment about a CANADIAN captain ... Loucks has, once again, used "me thinks" in a post ... hey, R. Miller ... we need a little jingoism!!
