Canadian Superior in New Jersey LNG venture
JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Excalibur Energy (USA) Inc., a joint venture between Canadian Superior Energy Inc. of Calgary and privately held Global LNG Inc. of New York, has launched a plan for a $550-million (U.S.) liquefied natural gas import terminal off New Jersey.
Subject to regulatory approval, the project is designed to begin delivering 2.4 billion cubic feet per day of gas by late 2011.
