Female-friendly mags continue to dominate Canadian market

Magazines for female readers, and the advertisers who purvey products and services aimed at those readers, continue to dominate the Canadian magazine market, according to an analysis of revenues in 2007 completed recently by industry watchdog, Masthead magazine.
Total revenue for the country's top 10 magazines last year was $300.3-million, a 3-per-cent increase from 2006, according to the report, to be published this week in Masthead's May-June issue.
