Nikolaos Saketos takes a little off the top for Vahram Dughestani, who has been visiting John's & Nick's Barber Shop since he was three. Mr. Saketos took over the business two years ago from his uncle John, who ran it for 45 years. The barbershop, at 2992 West Broadway, serves a range of customers looking for the old-fashioned haircut experience. 'I try to keep it traditional, like the old-style, because [there are] not too many in B.C. If you look around, you can see too many hair salons, but not any more barbershops,' Mr. Saketos says. Mr. Saketos prides himself on his service. 'I believe if you don't like what you do, you don't do it right. So I love my job and I have to [give] good service to the customers. I try to make everybody happy. Sometimes it is easy, sometimes it's very hard.'
