$37.5-million gift fuels researchers' dreams

Toronto scientists hope a $37.5-million donation to Princess Margaret Hospital, which caps the largest cumulative private gift to cancer research in Canadian history, will help secure the hospital's position as one of the top five oncology centres in the world. Yesterday's gift by the family of Audrey Campbell brings the total donation to the hospital to $67.5-million, and will be recognized through the creation of the Campbell Family Cancer Research Institute.
